Iwena & Louis are getting married in June and we did their engagement shoot this weekend. We decided that we should do it at the beach - and true to Strand the wind was pumping, with serious gale force South Easterlies. By the end of the shoot we had sand all the way to our tonsils and the first thing I did when I got home was take as shower to get all the sand out of my hair. But we stuck it out - and I'm glad we did! Thank you guys for being such troopers!

Neo's 1st B-day!
Amy my best friend's little boy, Neo, turns 1 today and we had a big birthday party for him on Saturday. I took my camera with me, just in case... and I'm so glad I did because he's such a cutie pie. Have a look at his little "screw in" arms - just like a little cupie doll! Happy birthday Neo!!!

Hentie & Sanell: Laatson Porterville
Hentie & Sanell both work in London and wanted to have their wedding here in South Africa, to be close to family and friends. The wedding's theme was vintage and for dessert Sanell had made little paper cones into which the guest could scoop sweets... really cute!!!
She had the most beautifull dress imported all the way from Spain with the most delicate lace trail. Click on the image to enlarge.

Andrew & Adene Engagement Shoot: Jonkershoek
Adene's my fellow photographer friend from Adene Photographyand she asked me to do an engagement shoot for her. I'm also doing her wedding and it's always a good idea to have an engagment shoot before the wedding. That way you and the photographer get to know each other and that will result in you being more comfortable in front of the camera = more natural & spontaneous photos!
