Altus & Jadie

Altus & Jadie are the type of people that you immediately like when you meet them. We had an instant connection and when we finished the engagment session, I felt like I've known them forever! They're both teachers in Londen, Jadie's an artist, who ran a Art Gallery in Manhatten, New York before becoming an art teacher in Londen, and Altus, who's orgininally from Wellington is a sience teacher/ musician who is part of the band Broken Star. They're both very creative and I think it's the creative temperaments we all have that makes being around them so easy!

Vlokkie & Lida-Mari

One can't help but like this couple! They're easy to talk to, comfortable in front of the camera, can't keep their hands of each other and they're cleary in love!!!! I really laughed when Lida-Mari mentioned that she's so happy she's found me as her wedding photographer - because I'm going to be famous one day :) Lets hold thumbs Lida-Mari...

I played around with colour and effects which you can do with engagementshoots - I try to keep my weddings as "natural" as possible, but with these I could push the colour a bit. If there's duplicates in Black & white - sorry - I couldn't choose!

Jamie & Kyle

Jamie's the boy and Kyle's the girl! I'm doing their wedding in April and we decided to do an engagement shoot before the wedding. I've always wanted to take pictures of the colorful little houses of the Bo-Kaap and my friends would tell you I LOVE colours - so I literally felt like a kid in a candy shoppe with all the candy coloured backdrops!
