Neil is a South African and Kye Ling is an Aussie, and they met each other in London where they shared a house. According to Neil they lived together in the house for quite a while before Kye “made the first move” on a night out together. They had two weddings, one in Australia and one in SA. And several batchelors and bachelorettes...
During the whole wedding there was constant, good natured bickering, about who is the best Rugby Team . . . Go Springboks! I am however sad to say that if there was a World Cup for shaking your booty - this Aussie Bride would have won hands down!
Cape Town has been experiencing a really bad bout of freaky weather lately, with winter weather in the middle of November. But Saturday was an absolute beaut of a day! Nice and sunny and not to hot. Soneke & Hendro had a morning wedding, and it was such a nice setting at Towerbosch Restaurant at Knorhoek Wine Estate...
I had the privilege of being the Second Shooter for Sybrand Cillié from Pro Photography. It was a real learning curve for me to see how the REAL pros do it! These are one of the photos I took the day... I’ll be posting more soon.
I met Neil & Jana on friends of their’s wedding more than a year ago. Jana booked me soon afterwards for their wedding at Green Leaves near the Hartebeespoort Dam. I was fortunate to have Neil pick me up from the airport and we both went to the venue to have a look at possible spots for their photos. This gave me the opportunity to get to know a bit more about the groom, which was a nice change to previous weddings where I sometimes meet the groom for the first time on the wedding day. Jana is this tiny-tiny little person and she had an absolute stunning dress... something completely different and it reflected her personality 100%.

I'm a Photographer who specialise in Wedding Photography. I live in Somerset West, but work in the neighbouring towns and Cape Town as well. I use every wedding or shoot I do to become a better photographer, always trying new effects and angles... photography keeps me on my toes, because you can’t sit back and rest on your laurels... I do all kinds of photography, but I absolutely adore taking wedding photos... The unstaged emotions, facial expressions and special moments, make it so appealing.
I love being part of a couple's happiest day, being part of the inner circle and being able to create memories that will last beyond the frosting on the cake and the bubbles in the champagne... I hope you invite me to be part of that special day in your life and help me make your memories...
